Menopause (GSM)

Menopause is a worldwide symptom for women from the age of 45+ with the decrease of estrogen levels and the shift of certain hormones resulting in vaginal atrophy symptoms like dryness, SUI, pain or discomfort which they have labelled as Genitourinary Syndrome of Menopause (GSM). Menopause can cause the lining of the vagina to reduce in thickness, become dryer, inflamed and lose elasticity. Shelase will be able to assist in stimulating the vaginal wall to increase its thickness and restore the vaginal flora and PH balance resulting in the removal of these uncomfortable vaginal symptoms.

Improves symptoms associated with menopause

shelase helps to reduce vaginal dryness and itching which are common issues relating to the menopause.

Treats vaginal laxity

shelase is a reliable and non invasive treatment to improve vaginal laxity.

Reduces painful side effects

By improving the mucus production in the vagina the treatment reduces concerns such as painful intercourse.

Menopause

Menopause is when a woman no longer has menstrual periods and the hormone levels change. Many women experience a variety of symptoms as a result of the hormonal changes associated with the transition to menopause.

Almost half of middle-aged and older women have symptoms associated to vaginal atrophy, including itching and discomfort. Referring to the changes seen in the vaginal mucosa and vulva, Vulvovaginal Atrophy (VVA) is due to loss of oestrogen after menopause.

Shelase has transformed the way I feel about my body after menopause. I’m more confident and enjoying my mature years. You can’t put a price on emotional happiness.
